The Best Is yet to Come

the best is yet to come

I turned 40 this year and I have decided, not last week but generally for the past couple years that I wanted to elevate my life, become the one I am destined to be.  The “BEST” me, reaching my potential and becoming more authentically me.  Sounds selfish right?

Actually, it is crucial to happiness and fulfillment.  How can you be anything other than who you were designed to be?  The footprint you were destined to leave?  It is your birthright.  You came here for a specific purpose and I’m pretty sure it was not to go to a job you hate or have a life unfulfilled with no friends, no loves, no hobbies, and to just get by for 50 years and just wait until “it’s my time to go.”

We have so much more potential.  This is your life and you have a greater measure of control than you believe or what others have made you believe.  If you want to learn a new skill, become successful at something, or excel at anything all you have to do is study what others have done.  There is no difference between you and them except they have more knowledge and more experience.  Find people who are doing what you want to do, study what they’ve done.  Read books, research, watch videos, internalize and think about it, write it down, eat it, sleep it, drink it, become it.

What better time than NOW to become more authentically you?  There has never been a better time.  You are at the peak of your life, at any age because you are aware of your potentiality.  Whether you are 16 or 65, it is never too late because you are never done.

I have begun my journey of self discovery by doing things that bring me joy but also by pushing myself to go after what I want in “my” life. Discovering that there are no boundaries, I’m “dancing with my demons” and extending my reach to do what I’ve previously imagined was unattainable.  Whether it is to write a book or just get up early, any goal that is thought of, is worthwhile to achieve.

This is your life anyway, who’s to say what you should spend your time doing? Do what you love.  The money will always be just behind the joy.

I believe in you,

Laura

live a life you love
