You Are Amazing Today
We are surrounded by negativity, unhappiness and disaster everywhere you look. That doesn’t mean there has to be destruction going on inside your mind. Your mind needs to be taken care of like your body.
You wouldn’t go out of the house without taking a shower or at least washing your face and brushing your teeth, right? So why is it so easy to go out of the house every day without a little motivation to get yourself going?
Affirmations are an important part of your daily routine. Wake up, get dressed, wash your face, brush your teeth, repeat your positive affirmations and get ready to face the day! If you have trouble remembering, cut out pictures or paste it on your refrigerator or bathroom mirror. Anything to shift your attention.
This is a habit I have developed before I go to work, before I walk into a business to make a sale, before I speak in front of 25,000 people. I tell myself what I want to happen. “I am going to be the best speaker they have heard today” Not only do you need positive words during normal times but you especially need them when you have high stress or an important event that you want to go well.
A couple motivating words every once in a while isn’t enough to keep you going, especially when times get tough. So the next time you are feeling down, try saying this in your mind or out loud a few times until you start to shift your point of attraction: “I want to feel good, I want to feel good, I want to feel good.” After a little bit, you will then start to turn your attention to things that make you feel better. There is no point in wallowing in self-pity when you know there is good there for you. Whether you remember a happy time or dream about a happy place, you are attracting.
There is nothing more important in your day than a dose of positive out loud verbal projections and blissful thoughts. A couple of minutes a day is more powerful than you can imagine. You won’t just be fresh and clean on the outside, you’ll be refreshed and rejuvenated on the inside!
Love and a little motivation,
Laura
