Cut up and Dye!!!!!
For quite some time I have been thinking about transforming my locks. However, because I have had short hair for the majority of my life, a glass of red wine was needed to ease the transition. (or that’s the excuse I made this time!) It wasn’t the short hair I was afraid of, it was the scissors in an untrusted person’s hand! Well, guess what I mustered up the courage to do today??
“Are you ready?” is what Eric, (I call him Edward Scissorhands) owner of Planet 21 asked….
…And there it goes! The first cut!
AND a little more wine after that…
“Is this what women do when they are almost 40?”
“Was this a bad idea?”
“This is NOT a mom do”
“I am so hip right now??”
“Right? I am right?”
“I’m not looking til it’s over” “OMG….IT’S ALL GONE!!!”
But I love it. EXACTLY as I envisioned…
Edgy, still romantic and easy! Hey I like to spend time on makeup and with my kiddies!

Thanks Nycole! I’m heading to Europe next year to train so I thought it was about time to get some chic London hair on my head! I’ve had it cut two more times so it’s around jaw length now, quite a change but I was ready for it!
