What would you do if you made more money?
No seriously, can you think of something right away that just gets your blood pumping?
Go ahead and say it out loud. Or better yet write down what you would do, in present-tense, if you had more money.
Or are you thinking, “Well, I’m pretty satisfied with where I am right now. Besides, wouldn’t it be greedy or selfish to want to make more?”
Wouldn’t you agree if you had more money you could help more people? I promise you the most important reason to make more money is to have a greater impact.
While my children were selling at their lemonade stand this past weekend, we had to have some serious talks about why and how we use money, to better not only our lives but the lives of others.
As the lemonade stand bustled with customers, my daughter’s eyes lit up with excitement thinking about all the doll clothes and accessories she could buy with the $20 she made.
I took this opportunity to teach her the IMPACT she can have, even at 8.
“When you make money,” I told her, “You always want to plan ahead. Some of it needs to be saved, of course, you can spend some of it, but most importantly you must always plan to give.”
It doesn’t matter if you choose to give to charity or buy flowers for neighbors or buy lunch for the homeless, the intention is to do something for others – which is an abundant act.”
From a universal law perspective, you are telling LIFE, that there is always more money where that came from, by giving selflessly to someone else.
Now I won’t say that at 8, she ultimately bought into this idea but she is beginning to understand that we can all have a greater IMPACT, feel good about our actions, and have a really powerful reason to always want more.
As we are reaching the milestone of generating more than a million dollars in revenue with our digital marketing agency this year, Todd and I talked about how we would reach 10 million through wanting to create more impact.
-Continue our mission as a company with our P.A.C.E. initiative to help support charities for people, animals, the community, and the environment.
-Build schools for children who live in undeveloped countries.
-Help disabled children find a way to thrive in their communities with healthy bodies and healthy minds.
-Ensure more women start businesses and earn a living doing what they love.
-Continue to provide income and an incredible place for our employees to learn, grow, and thrive as we double our numbers every year.
If you needed a reason to feel inspired to visualize money flowing to you, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. There it is.
IMPACT.
