I have had a lot of travel lately, and the most stressful part for me is not the crowds that I have to speak to, or the breakneck pace of the meetings, but the PACKING! I will work for days before the trip trying on, modeling, changing, and planning the outfits I will wear down to the button! My 3 year old loves the impromptu fashion shows — my husband not so much .
Part of the stress is that you want to be prepared to be your “best self” in front of business colleagues and in a new location. That might require you to push past the pile of yoga pants and go to the back of the closet to pull out the “fancy” clothes. But I still want to be stylishly comfortable, with accessory options that can help me change outfits on the fly, or ease my aching feet after a long day in 4″ heels.
