The Happy to Healthy Equation

be happy

Do you ever think about how emotions affect your wellbeing?

When you feel sad, you certainly don’t feel good. And prolonged depression being the worst, I believe of all emotions, can cause death. You’ve heard the saying, “They died of a broken heart,” right? When you feel dis-ease in your mind, it can lead to dis-ease in your body.

It is healthier, in all actuality, to be mad than sad. At least there is some form of “I want to feel better” somewhere in there. When you move from depression to anger you are moving up the emotional ladder, getting closer to happy. When you are overjoyed, you can feel that love and peace permeate your body. Like goose bumps, which I believe, happen when you are in line with who you really are: your inner being, your higher self, your creator, and you feel that connectedness.

chose happy

All of these emotions are a choice.

Although sometimes difficult to achieve when you are observing so much devastation in your life or even in the lives of others. I just try to reach for a better feeling thought and will even say to myself “I want to feel good” to stop thinking about whatever is bothering me. When you can’t shake it, go to sleep to cut off all the negative emotions. So you can wake with a clear mind to attract better things, and get on with some good feeling thoughts.

Joy is the basis of your being. It is what we are all after.

If you aren’t chasing your bliss, then what are you after? You CAN choose happy. You have the choice every day when you wake to decide how your day will unfold. Every night that I remember I say a little prayer as I am going to sleep. “Tonight as I fall asleep I will have a wonderful, restful sleep and when I wake in the morning, as soon as my feet hit the floor, my day will begin to be amazing. Everything that I am wanting to see will be there just for me.” That’s not all of it, but, you get the point. Your intention for a happy existence will create a happy body because they are all connected.

“Come on get happy,” because it’s good for your health!
