“Hiroshima” Original Pastel Drawing by Laura Laire

Hiroshima copy

This is a very large original chalk pastel drawing that is an abstract interpretation of what I think it would look like in the wake of war.  “Hiroshima” was sold years ago while I was in college to an art collector.

Destructive yet beautiful.  Death and birth intertwining in a sea of color.  I hope my family and I never see the destructive evil that is war…My heart bleeds for those that do witness it up close.  How sad to know that war is big business and almost a necessity for economy.  I just choose to try and find the beauty in the uncommon and happiness in misery.

What do you see?

Make Love Not War,

LL
