Feel Better?

Thankful

Count your blessings.  We’ve all heard the phrase but it’s not just a saying on a greeting card, it’s a way of life.  No matter how bad our circumstances, there is ALWAYS something to be grateful for.

When my spouse seems to be having a bad day, I always ask him a simple question to change his perspective: “What are you grateful for?”

He usually starts out with a little grumpy one word answer.  As I keep asking the question multiple times, you can hear the mood shifting and therefore the point of attraction shifting (and he even cracks an unwilling smile).

There is no better way to stop feeling sorry for yourself and improve your mood and outlook, than to feel appreciation.  Close your eyes and feel loved because you are.  You are blessed, you have abundance, you are wonderful, you are magnetic, you are alive, you are here to enjoy.  So do just that, now…feel better??
