Law of Attraction – Finding Beauty in the Ugliest of Days

Changing Your Point of Attraction – Finding Beauty in the Ugliest of Days

If you agree that perception is reality then you can find whatever you are looking for, good or bad. That is, if you change your point of attraction, not only in a person but in any experience. Coming off of a 24 hour bug that made me feel awful, I thought “Where can I turn my attention, so that I don’t focus on how bad I feel?”

I just kept saying, “I want to feel good.”

This is also when sleep is a good idea because you turn off your energy. Meaning you stop your point of attraction all together, good or bad. Sleep kind of brings me to a neutral zone, though I would rather be lying in bed with my mind racing about all the exciting journeys I’m about to partake in.

If you are like me, it is hard to do anything when you don’t feel good. Especially finding something pleasant to think about it or feel about.

You can find the positive if you are looking for it.

We turned on the TV, asked my sweet babies to come sit with me and giggled and dozed in and out while they watched Lego Movie.

I noticed how sweet it was to snuggle with them and hear their laughter as my body healed. Then was grateful to be at home and not have to be at work feeling so terrible.

I thought about how nice it was that my husband was around to nurse me. (Even if it was with his eyes.)

Focusing on feeling the love from my family kept me from repeating “I feel bad, I feel bad, go away bad feeling…”

The best way to start changing your point of attraction is to find the beauty even in the ugliest of days.

Today, I feel wonderful. As soon as I took charcoal, drank some aloe and green tea! I’ve been on the computer for most of the day enjoying planning our family vacation to Europe this summer. How quickly bad can pass when you focus on how great everything around you is.

Isn’t gratitude the solution to every bad day?

You know as well as I, that it could be worse, much worse. Don’t allow “miserable” to permeate your existence. Look for beauty and the beast will disappear.

Feel good,

Laura
